When developing this hot
glue monitoring system, great emphasis was placed on the sensor
technology coupled with easy integration into the production
machine and easy operation. A rotary pulse generator is not
required. Fit sensor above the glue joint to be monitored, plug
sensor cable into unit, plug mains cable into socket, done. A
two-button operation turns this into child play!
The unit
has already been preset at factory to permit a single-button
start of the monitoring process by the user. The computer
compares the quantity of the applied glue after having "set"
(dynamic calibration) to this value (reference value) after
pressing this button. The tolerance can be altered in 10% steps.
Is the set value exceeded, the unit immediately triggers an
alarm. In addition, external horns or warning lamps can be
connected.
