True to this slogan, RETEC GmbH has developed a sensor for the pharmaceutical industry which can be connected to any SPS. It requires a mere 18-30 V DC, the output signal is a positive impulse (PNP). The installation is as simple as possible. The sensor bridge is fitted vibration-free directly via the product current to be measured. The fitting location should be prior to labeling to avoid the label covering the range of the filling level to be measured. The sensor unit detects and analyses the packing drum to be tested without the need for any settings

If no SPS is available, an evaluation unit can also be supplied. The evaluation unit has counters for the number of tests as well as for "badly" controlled objects. Corresponding alarm outputs are also available, which can be further processed externally. Alternatively, it is possible to output a serial fault. This will be triggered after a selectable number of serial faults. The only user setting required is to set the sensor unit to the right "filling level" (in accordance with the marking on the sensor).
